The old world is falling apart – What do 15 leading global analysts say about 2023? This is the title of a compilation by Balázs Szepesi and Vivien Aranyi-Aszalós in Összkép Magazine on the latest analyses of the global economy and political system by 15 leading think tanks from America, Africa, Asia and Europe. The Hungarian Economic Association’s (HEA) International Economics Section will organise an online roundtable discussion on the article on Friday 24 February 2023, from 14:00 on Webex and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.

At the beginning of the event, Balázs Szepesi, sociologist, economist, PhD in Political Science, Head of the School of Economics at Mathias Corvinus Collegium, will give an overview of how the world’s leading think tanks see 2023. This will be followed by a panel discussion in which Magdolna Sass, Director of the Institute of World Economics at the Eötvös Loránd Research Network’s Centre, and professor Péter Ákos Bod, Vice President of the Hungarian Economic Association, will share their thoughts on the topic. The discussion will be moderated by Tamás Galambos, Managing Director of Swoosh Capital Ltd. and President of the International Economics Section of the HEA.
