The UK Ambassador in Budapest, H. E. Paul Fox, hosted some members of the Presidium of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) – our President, Gyula Pleschinger; our Honorary President, Árpád Kovács; our Vice-Presidents, Éva Palócz and László Wolf; and our Board member and President of our Competitiveness Section, Gergely Baksay – for a discussion at his residence on 9 February.
At the meeting, the participants discussed the state and prospects of the Hungarian economy, the future directions of cooperation between HEA and the British Embassy in Budapest, and the experiences of the recent joint conference of HEA, the British Embassy in Budapest and Cambridge Econometrics.
