The members of the Hungarian Economic Association’s Startup Section voted for the renewal of the current president, Tamás Turcsán, startup consultant and founder of POZI.io, for another three years.
The voting members elected Péter Bagó, startup consultant and assistant professor at the Department of Innovation and Business Incubation of the Corvinus University of Budapest, and Szabolcs Szolnoki, Deputy State Secretary for Technology at the Ministry of Economic Development, as vice-presidents of the section.
Éva Pintér, Habilitated Associate Professor at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Corvinus University of Budapest, will continue to act as Secretary of the Department. In addition, the members supported the appointment of Tamás Müller, founder of the Women Startup Competition International, as a member of the MKT Startup Section for the next three years.
