The Hungarian Economic Association’s Labour Section – in cooperation with the MunkaugyiSzemle.hu portal – published the summaries of the Section’s 2022 professional events in e-book format. The publication can be downloaded here in pdf format.
The 70-page book, which contains just over a dozen conference summaries, is not without precedent: a year ago, the Section published an electronic publication of the abstracts of online conferences held during the pandemic, entitled Labour Science Messages from Quarantine.
The current publication, edited by József Bagó, President of the Labour Section, and Ferenc Munkácsy, Editor-in-Chief of MunkaugyiSzemle.hu, provides a good cross-section of the Section’s activities over the past year. As Section President Jószef Bagó puts it in the foreword to the volume, „The vast majority of the professional summaries presented are once again much more substantial than simply documenting an event. The articles draw attention to the issues of greatest interest and debate in the world of labour, often with additional commentary by the participants or even the authors. Overall, therefore, they reflect a broad picture of the ideas and dilemmas that have occupied the minds of the representatives of this diverse profession in 2022, in fact creating values that go beyond the work of the department.”
