József Benda, socialisation researcher, will continue to chair the Demography Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, and the position of the Section Secretary has remained unchanged: Zsuzsa Fekete Sisakné, statistician, will take on the duties of the Section Secretary for the next three years.
During the renewal meeting, which ended on Wednesday, the Section elected new members of the Section’s Board. Accordingly, the following professionals became members of the Demography Section: Ágnes Engler, pedagogical researcher, professor at the University of Debrecen; Gyula Fekete Jr., statistician, demographer; Tamás László, architect; Antal Szabadkai, engineer, economist; Zoltán Szarvas, organisational developer; János I. Tóth, philosopher, demographer, habilitated assistant professor at the University of Szeged and Péter Tóth Pál, demographer.
