The members of the Development Policy Section of the Hungarian Economic Association unanimously confirmed Etele Baráth, former Minister for European Affairs and former member of the European Economic and Social Committee, as the President of the Section, and elected a new Section Secretary in the person of Miklós Andorka, Deputy Chief Strategy Officer of MAPI Zrt.
During the online renewal meeting, which ended on Tuesday afternoon, the voting members unanimously supported the election of Zsombor Essősy, CEO of MAPI Zrt. and Péter Heil, development policy expert of the European Parliament and former Deputy President of the National Development Agency, as Vice Presidents of the Development Policy Section of the HEA for the next three years.
The members of the Board of the Section were also elected: László Krisán, CEO of KAVOSZ Zrt; Zsuzsanna Kondor, Master Teacher of Public Finance at the National University of Public Service, former Head of Department of the National Development Agency, former Head of the Coordination and Managing Authorities of the Operational Programme for Implementation; and Péter Szatmári, Deputy Vice-Rector for General and Public Relations at Milton Friedman University.
