Magyar Nemzeti Bank – in cooperation with the Hungarian Economic Association’s (HEA) Competitiveness, Economic Policy and Economic Theory and Innovation Sections – will organise a professional event in connection with the presentation of the MNB’s 2023 Growth Report on Wednesday, 14 June 2023, from 10 am at the Lámfalussy Conference Room of the MNB’s Buda Centre (1013 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 55.) and on the MNB’s YouTube channel.
The event will start with a welcome speech by Barnabás Virág, Deputy Governor of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank and member of the Board of the Competitiveness Section of the HEA. The MNB’s Growth Report will be presented by András Balatoni, Director of Economic Forecasting and Analysis at the MNB, member of the Board of the Economic Policy and Economic Theory of the HEA. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with the participation of István Peták, Founding CEO of Oncompass Medicince; Charaf Hassan, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the BME; Imre Csuhaj-Varjú, Senior Advisor to the Governor of the MNB and Endre Jóföldi, CEO of Precognox Informatikai Kft. The discussion will be moderated by Gergely Baksay, Chief Economist of the ?NB, President of the Competitiveness Section and member of the National Board of HEA.
