Productivity and profitability. This is the title of an online conference organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Thursday, 7 September 2023, from 14:00 on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel. The conference will be inspired by a paper by György Boda (Associate Professor Emeritus of the Corvinus University of Budapest, Managing Partner of Boda & Partners Ltd. and member of the Board of the HEA Labour Section) et al., published in the Statistical Review.
The conference will start with György Boda presenting the main findings of the paper, followed by Andrea Szalavetz, Research Advisor at the Institute of World Economics, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies; Attila Chikán, Academician, Honorary President of the Economic Policy and Theory Section of the HEA and Álmos Telegdy, Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest (invited) sharing their thoughts with the audience. The discussion will be moderated by László Herczog, former Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, former member of the Board of the Labour Section of the HEA.
