The Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Fiscal Council (FC) will hold their traditional autumn conference again this year to present background studies prepared for the FC on Thursday, 5 October 2023, from 9 am in Budapest, in the conference room of the MNB’s Surveillance Centre (1122 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 6, 3rd floor) and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.
The conference speakers are Árpád Kovács, President of the Fiscal Council, Honorary President of HEA; Gergely Baksay, Chief Economist of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, President of the Competitiveness Section of HEA; Gyula Zoltán Pulay, Chief Economist of the State Audit Office of Hungary; Ilona Cserháti, Associate Professor of Corvinus University of Budapest; Tamás Isépy, expert of the Hungarian Economic Research Institute, Katalin Szilágyi, Senior Economist at Innovative Economic Solutions/OG Research; Éva Palócz, CEO at Kopint-Tárki Zrt., Vice President of the HEA; Gábor Regős, Chief Economist of the Macronome Institute; Pál Belyó, Managing Director of ECO-VISTA Ltd.; Attila Udvardi, Director of GKI Gazdaságkutató Zrt.; Magdolna Csath, Professor, Vice President of the Innovation Section of the HEA and Péter Halmai, Academician, Economist, President of the Economic Policy and Theory Section of the HEA.
