Gergely Madár, a student of the Németh László Gymnasium in Budapest, finished in 10th place in the international final of the International Economics Olympiad in Bratislava. The value of this excellent performance is demonstrated by the fact that the final was a test of economic knowledge for around 70 students from 14 countries, with a total of 80,000 secondary school students from 18 countries competing. In addition to Gergő, Szabolcs Andrási (Kada Elek Technikuma of Kecskemét Vocational Training Centre), Boglárka Németh (Széchenyi István Catholic Technical School and Secondary School of Ózd), Ágoston Dudás (Ágoston Trefort Trefort Practical Secondary School of ELTE) and Bálint Kovács-Bordás (Teleki Blanka Secondary School and Elementary School of Székesfehérvár) represented Hungary at the final in Bratislava.

Congratulations to Gergő and the Hungarian team members for their good performance!
