Hajnalka Csáfor, Vice Rector for Education of the Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, was elected President of the Heves County Organisation of the Hungarian Economic Association on Thursday. The previous president of the county organisation, Sándor Csontos, was elected honorary president by the members.

According to the decision of the voting members, Gabriella Soós, assistant professor at the Department of Economics and Statistics of Eötvös Loránd University, research associate at the Department of Commerce of Budapest University of Economics and Business, and member of the national board of the HEA, will continue to hold the post of secretary of the Heves County Organisation.

There was a change in the members of the county organisation’s board: instead of Rafael Szántósi, Ádám Gyurkó, adjunct professor at Eszterházy Károly Catholic University, will strengthen the board for the next three years as youth secretary. Other members of the presisium of the Heves Younty Organisation are: Gábor Asztalos, Head of Department of the Heves County Directorate of the Hungarian State Treasury; Károly Bársony, owner and financial manager of Kontra-Pech Bt.; and Imre Nagy, Managing Director of Experia Nova Kft.
