Renewable territorial policy – coordinated territorial cooperation for territorial development. This is the title of a conference organised by the Ministry of Public Administration and Regional Development (MPARD) in cooperation with the Development Policy Department of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Tuesday, 16 January 2024, from 10.30 a.m. at the Selyemgyár Event Centre (7700 Mohács Szent János utca 5.). The two introductory speeches of the conference will be given by Tibor Navracsics, Minister of Public Administration and Regional Development, and Etele Baráth, former Minister of European Affairs and President of the Development Policy Section of the HEA – our Section President will share his thoughts with the audience under the title “Aims, achievements, lessons learned – 20 years in the European Union”.

Among the speakers will be Gábor Mayer, State Secretary for Spatial Development of the MPARD (Renewal of Hungarian Spatial Policy); István György, State Secretary for Territorial Administration of the MPARD (Mapping and Legal Framework of Hungarian Public Services); and Miklós Dukai, State Secretary for Local Government of the MPARD (The Importance of Innovative Local Governments in Renewing Spatial Policy).
