In honour of the 20th anniversary of Hungary’s accession to the European Union, the Debrecen Youth Committee of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA), the Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen and the Economics Working Committee of the Debrecen Regional Committee of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences are organizing a professional evening on Thursday, 18 April 2024, from 5 pm at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen (4032 Debrecen, Böszörményi út 138.).

The speakers of the event are Zoltán Póser, former Deputy State Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, responsible for the implementation of the Recovery Plan, former head of the RRF National Authority, former student of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Debrecen; László Jankovics, economic analyst at the European Commission, former director of the Fiscal Council responsible for budgetary policy, also a former student of economics at the University of Debrecen (online); and László Erdey, Deputy Dean for International Affairs at the University of Debrecen, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations. The participants will be welcomed by Etele Baráth, former Minister for European Affairs, former Hungarian member of the EESC and President of the Development Policy Section of the HEA.
