The Development Policy Section of the Hungarian Economic Association will organise an online roundtable discussion on the future of the European Union and the economic, social, geopolitical and institutional challenges facing the Community on Monday, 8 April 2024, from 2 pm on Webex and on the MKT’s YouTube channel.

Participants of the discussion: Krisztina Arató, Professor at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, ELTE, Director of the Institute of Political Science, author of several textbooks on the history and functioning of the European Union; Péter Krekó, habilitated associate professor, political psychologist, political scientist, director of Political Capital, lecturer at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, ELTE (invited), and Zsuzsanna Kondor, development policy expert, master’s lecturer at the National University of Public Service, member of the board of the Development Policy Section of the HEA. The discussion will be moderated by Péter Heil, Vice President of the Section.

The event is part of a year-long series of conferences in which MKT’s sections will review the experiences and achievements of Hungary’s two decades of EU membership.
