In connection with the series of events organised by the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and its county organisations to evaluate the past 20 years of EU membership, the HEA’s Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Organisation will organise a roundtable discussion on Thursday, 2 May 2024, from 10 a.m. in Miskolc, in the conference room of the BOKIK (Miskolc, Szentpáli utca 1.). The event is planned to be broadcast live on the HEA’s YouTube channel.

Participants of the discussion – Boglárka Bánné Gál, President of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Assembly; Tamás Bihall, President of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, President of the County Organisation of HEA; Zita Horváth, Rector of the University of Miskolc and Pál Veres, Mayor of Miskolc, will review what Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County and the town of Miskolc have achieved and how much they have developed as a result of EU membership. The discussion will be moderated by Ildikó Pelczné Gáll, Hungarian Member of the European Court of Auditors, former Vice-President of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the County Organisation of HEA.
