For the 41st time, the Youth Committee of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) will organize the National Meeting of Young Economists on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. in the Assembly Hall of the Böszörményi út Campus of the University of Debrecen (Debrecen, Böszörményi út 138).

Among the speakers and panelists of the conference will be László Bódis, Deputy State Secretary for Innovation of the Ministry of Culture and Innovation; Éva Hegedüs, Secretary General of the Hungarian Economic Association, President & CEO of GRÁNIT Bank; Csaba Kandrács, Deputy Governor of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, member of the Board of the Sustainability Section of the HEA; Barnabás Ács, Director of Sustainable Finance and Investment at the London Stock Exchange; Lajos Barcsa, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen (invited); Tamás Péter Turcsán, startup expert, Pozi.io founder and President of the Startup Section of HEA and Rita Szalay, Director of Sustainability Services at PwC Hungary.

The event will start at 10 am with plenary presentations, followed by three panel discussions on sustainable finance, sustainable urban development and sustainable entrepreneurship.

The conference is scheduled to be streamed live on the HEA’s YouTube channel.
