Sustainable GDP – The challenges. This is the title of a conferwnce organised by the Economic Statistics Section of the Hungarian Statistical Society, the Macro Club of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Pécs and the Competitiveness Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Thursday, 5 December 2024, from 13:00 at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Economics, Room B312 (7622 Pécs Rákóczi út 80.). The conference will review some of the themes of the publication Sustainable GDP – Global Debate Paper, published by the National Bank of Hungary in Spring 2024, in the framework of presentations and professional discussion.
Speakers will be Magdolna Csath, Professor, Research Professor at Budapest Metropolitan University, Vice President of the Innovation Section of the HEA, Member of the Board of the Competitiveness Section; Eszter Baranyai, Senior Education and Research Expert at the MNB; Lilla Bánkuty-Balogh, Master Lecturer at the MNB Institute and Gábor Bartus, Secretary of the National Council for Sustainable Development, Associate Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
