The Economic Policy and Economic Theory Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) will organise its traditional macroeconomic forecasters’ forum on Thursday, 13 February 2025, from 14:00 at the HEA Community Hall (ELTE ÁJK, 1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti u. 10-12., IV. floor 403.).
Participants of the discussion will be András Balatoni, Director of Economic Forecasting and Analysis at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, member of the Board of the Economic Policy and Economic Theory Section of the HEA; János Nagy, macroeconomic analyst at Erste Bank; Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt, and Vice-President of the HEA and Gergely Suppan, Deputy State Secretary for Macroeconomic Analysis at the Ministry of National Economy.. The discussion will be moderated by István Madár, Senior Analyst at Portfolió.hu and member of the HEA’s Board. The participants will be welcomed by Péter Halmai, Academician and President of the Section.
