Priority issues of the European Union in the 2024-2029 period, with a special focus on competitiveness challenges – this is the title of an online roundtable discussion organised by the European Union Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Monday, 3 February 2025, from 17:30 on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel.
Participants of the discussion are: László Andor, Secretary General of FEPS (Foundation for European Progressive Studies), former EU Commissioner, Vice President of HEA; Radován Jelasity, CEO of Erste Bank Hungary Zrt., President of the Hungarian Banking Association; Boglárka Koller, Jean Monnet Professor, Head of the Department of European Studies at the National University of Public Service, Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for World Economic Studies of the HUN-REN KRTK and Elemér Terták, former Director of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Internal Market, responsible for financial institutions, member of the HEA Board. The discussion will be moderated by Gábor Iván, Director of the Council of the European Union and President of the European Union Section of HEA.
