The dilemmas of the capital-labour ratio – this is the title of an online conference organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Economic Review 2025 on Thursday, 8 May 2025, from 14:00 on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel. The event will be inspired by a paper by György Boda in the March 2025 issue of the Economic Review.
At the beginning of the event, the author, György Boda, Associate Professor Emeritus at Corvinus University of Budapest, Managing Partner of Boda & Partners Ltd. and member of the Board of the Labour Section of the HEA, will present the main findings of the study. The invited speakers are Emőke Török, Associate Professor at the Institute of Social and Communication Sciences of the Károli Gáspár Reformed University and Zoltán Pitti, Research Fellow at the Corvinus University of Budapest, former President of the National Tax Authority and former member of the HEA’s Board. The discussion will be moderated by Attila Chikán, Academician, Honorary President of the Economic Policy and Theory Section of the HEA. Tamás Halm, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic Review and former Secretary General of the HEA will welcome the audience.
