Film industry: service productions and employment. This is the title of an online conference organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Thursday 19 June 2025 from 14:00 on Webex and on the HEA’s YouTube channel.
Balázs Varga, Associate Professor at the Institute of Art Theory and Media Research of ELTE, editor of the Metropolis journal, will give the introductory lecture. The invited speakers are Dániel Antal, co-founder and management consultant of Reprex BV and Tamás Vasvári, research fellow at the Faculty of Economics, University of Pécs. The discussion will be moderated by Márton Czirfusz, co-founder of the Periphery Public Policy and Research Centre and member of the Board of the HEA’s Labour Section.
