The Hungarian Economic Association’s (HEA) Demographic Section will organise a professional discussion on the topic of Public Financing and Demography on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, from 2 pm on Webex and on the HEA’s YouTube channel. The participants of the discussion will be József Banyár, Associate Professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, Gyula Fekete, statistician, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian Central Statistical Office, and member of the Board of the Demographic Section of the HEA, and György Németh, sociologist-economist, Senior Research Fellow at the Hungarian State Treasury. The moderator of the event will be Péter Asztalos, Economist Expert of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank.
