The Development Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association and the Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion Association are organizing an English-language workshop titled “The return of industrial policy” on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. at Room 342 of the Main Building of Corvinus University of Budapest (1093 Budapest, Fővám tér 8.). The discussion will be based on an article published in the 2025 special issue of the journal Köz-Gazdaság. The issue will be presented by Oleg Tankovsky, Assistant Lecturer at the University of Public Service.
The opening lecture of the event will be given by Helena Drdlova, PhD student at the University of Helsinki. The panel discussion participants include Dorottya Szabó, Lead Researcher at the Youth Entrepreneurship Promotion Association, and Tamás Csontos, Junior Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic and Regional Studies, Institute of World Economics.
