Sustainability and Demography is the title of the professional event organized by the Demography Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Monday, 19 January 2026, from 2:00 p.m. in the HEA Community Space (ELTE Faculty of Law, Building B, 1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti u. 10–12., 4th floor, Room 403) and on the HEA YouTube channel.
The speakers of the event are: Zoltán Pogátsa, economist, associate professor at the University of Sopron, lecturer at ELTE and the University of Verona; Ferenc Somogyi, economist, associate professor at the Kautz Gyula Faculty of Economics of Széchenyi István University; and I. János Tóth, philosopher and demographer, habilitated associate professor at the University of Szeged. The discussion will be moderated by László Mádi, economist, college professor and head of programme at Wekerle Sándor International University.
