In addition to the well-established financial and entrepreneurial knowledge topics of previous years, insurance and cybersecurity will also be highlighted themes of this year’s MoneyWeek, taking place between March 2 and 6, 2026. As part of the theme week, schools can host volunteer professionals with experience in banking, cybersecurity, or business operations, as well as entrepreneurs. The organizers are already welcoming applications from volunteer guest lecturers on the event’s website.
Both globally and in Europe, the Hungarian Pénz7 (MoneyWeek) program has been achieving outstanding results year after year. In the 2024/2025 school year, around 212,000 students from 1,413 schools participated in the program. In this school year — within the framework of the now 12th MoneyWeek — between March 2 and 6, 2026, the focus nationwide will be on insurance, as well as cybersecurity and artificial intelligence within the financial topic area. In the entrepreneurship topic area, the focus theme will be “Think and Venture!”
Registration as a volunteer speaker for MoneyWeek is available on the website www.penz7.hu (in the top right corner) by entering an institutional code. The institutional code of the Hungarian Economic Association for MoneyWeek is 92915; this is the code to use for registration.
