As part of the celebration of its bicentenary, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences dedicates a separate month to each of its scientific sections, providing an opportunity to present the values, traditions, and most recent research results of their respective fields to the wider public. In February, it is the turn of Section IX of Economics and Law of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Throughout the month, there is a conference addressing economic and social issues almost every day. The events are hosted at the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and attendance is free of charge with prior registration.
