Géza Vincze, Managing Director of Auchan Magyarország Kft., and István Komoróczki, Secretary General of the ÁFEOSZ-COOP Szövetség, have joined the Board of the Trade Section of the Hungarian Economic Association as two new leaders representing the commercial sector. During the section’s officer election, members unanimously re-elected Tamás Kozák—Secretary General of the Országos Kereskedelmi Szövetség and Head of Department and Associate Professor at the Department of Commerce of Budapesti Gazdasági Egyetem—as Chair of the Section for another three-year term.
Based on the decision of the voting members, Gabriella Soós will also continue her work as Section Secretary for another three years. She is a research fellow at the Department of Commerce of Budapesti Gazdasági Egyetem, Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics and Statistics of the Faculty of Law at Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem, and a member of the national presidency of the Hungarian Economic Association.
The membership unanimously elected the members of the Board of the Trade Section. The following professionals were appointed: Irma Agárdi, Associate Professor at the Institute of Marketing of Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem; Gabriella Heiszler, CEO of SPAR Magyarország Kft.; István Komoróczki, Secretary General of the ÁFEOSZ-COOP Szövetség; Katalin Neubauer, Secretary General of the Magyar Nemzeti Kereskedelmi Szövetség; Zsolt Pálinkás, CEO of Tesco Globál Zrt.; and Géza Vincze, Managing Director of Auchan Magyarország Kft.
