Taxation Interventions and the Labor Market – under this title, the Labor Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) is organizing a professional event on Thursday, May 7, 2026, starting at 14:00, on Webex and on the HEA YouTube channel. The event is prompted by the article by Tibor Bors Borbély-Pecze, adjunct associate professor at ELTE, titled Tax Policy or Employment Policy?, published in the journal MunkaügyiSzemle.hu.
The introductory presentation will be given by the author, Tibor Bors Borbély-Pecze. Invited discussants: Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt. and Vice President of the Hungarian Economic Association, and Tamás Gyekiczky, retired judge and social researcher. Moderator: Attila Chikán, member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (invited), honorary president of the Economic Policy and Economic Theory Section of the Hungarian Economic Association.
