The Demography Section of the HEA has re-elected socialization researcher József Benda as its President for another three-year term. At Wednesday’s officer election event, it was also announced that the voting members had renewed their confidence for another three years in the Section’s Secretary, economist Zsuzsa Fekete Sisakné.
During the online election, the Section’s Executive Board was partially renewed. Over the next three years, it will consist of the following professionals: Péter Hugó Asztalos, economist, Hungarian National Bank; Anita Élő, economist and journalist, Válasz Online; Gyula Fekete, statistician; Tamás László, architect and former Member of Parliament; Antal Szabadkai, engineer-economist; János I. Tóth, philosopher and demographer, University of Szeged; Péter Pál Tóth, demographer and member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
