The Dilemmas of Labour Relations – this is the title of an online conference organized by the Hungarian Economic Association’s Labour Section on Thursday, December 3, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m., on Webex and on the HEA YouTube channel.
The introductory presentation will be delivered by Gyula László, Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs. His presentation will draw primarily on his publication in Munkaügyi Szemle, available for download at this link. Invited discussants are András Pásztóy, Senior Expert at the Hungarian Trade Union Confederation, and Gábor Mélypataki, Associate Professor at the University of Miskolc and Co-Chair of the Labour Relations Subcommittee of the Scientific Committee on the Economics of Human Resources of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The discussion will be moderated by László Herczog, former Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, an associate of Pénzügykutató Zrt., and a member of the Presidium of the HEA Labour Relations Section.
