Who Benefits from a Wealth Tax? Under this title, the Environmental Economics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA), in cooperation with the Clean Air Action Group, is organising a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, 3 November 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the HEA Community Space (ELTE Faculty of Law, Building B, 4th floor, Room 403, 10–12 Kecskeméti út, Budapest 1053) and will be streamed on the HEA YouTube channel.
The panellists will be András Lukács, President of the Clean Air Action Group; Zoltán Pogátsa, Associate Professor at the University of Sopron; and Zsolt Horváth, policy officer at the Clean Air Action Group, economist, agricultural engineer and environmental engineer. The discussion will be moderated by Mihály Dombi, Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Sustainability, Faculty of International Management and Business, Budapest University of Economics and Business, and a member of the board of the HEA’s Environmental Economics Section.
