The HEA’s Fintech and Financial Culture Section elected Éva Pintér, habilitated Associate Professor of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Corvinus University of Budapest, as its President for another three-year term by unanimous vote. Péter Bagó, start-up consultant and assistant professor at the Department of Innovation and Business Incubation of the BCE, who was also unanimously endorsed by the voting members of the Section.
During the online renewal, the voting members decided by a large majority that Levente Kovács, Secretary General of the Hungarian Banking Association, Head of the Department of International Finance at the University of Miskolc and Róbert Reisz, sales specialist and motivational speaker, will be the Vice-Chairman of the HEA Fintech and Financial Culture Section for the next three years. Anikó Szombati, Managing Director of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, responsible for digitalisation and fintech development; Viktor Vajda, lawyer, legal director of the Blockchain Competence Center; Ágnes Sütő, Deputy Secretary General of the Hungarian Banking Association, responsible for banking operations and communication; and László Kiss, Sales Manager of OTP Bank were elected as the members of the Presidium of the section.
