Population decline and migration – this is the title of a discussion on the state of the Hungarian population, population decline and migration organised by the Hungarian Economic Association’s Demographic Section and the Central Statistical Office’s (CSO) Library on Wednesday, 17th January 2024, 16.30 pm at the Thirring Lajos Room of the CSO Library (1024 Budapest, Keleti Károly utca 5.). The guest of the event will be Miklós Beer, retired bishop of Vác, who will be in conversation with Péter Pál Tóth, demographer. The host of the event is Rita Kálmán, Director General of the CSO Library.
