Social and employment policy priorities of the Hungarian EU Presidency in 2024: targets set, expected results. This is the title of an online roundtable discussion organised by the Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Thursday, 7 March 2024, from 14:00 on Webex and on the HEA YouTube channel. The event is part of a year-long series of conferences in which HEA’s sections will review the experiences and achievements of Hungary’s two decades of EU membership by field.

The panellists are Ildikó Bodgál, Head of the Department for EU Sectoral Policy Coordination of the Ministry of European Union Affairs and Krisztina Pelei, Head of the Department of the State Secretariat for Employment Policy of the Ministry of National Economy. Moderator: Katalin Nagy, former Counsellor of the Permanent Representation of Hungary to the EU, Member of the Bureau of the Labour Section of the HEA.
