What has the EU accession meant for the Hungarian logistics industry? This is the title of an online roundtable discussion organised by the Logistics Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) on Tuesday, 14 May 2024, from 10 a.m. on Webex and on the MKT YouTube channel, in connection with the HEA’s series of events evaluating the results and experiences of our two decades of EU membership.
What did the Hungarian logistics industry expect, gain and lose with EU accession? The roundtable discussion will bring together experts from the road, rail and warehouse logistics sectors to analyse the market impact on the industry, cost and technology changes, and the regulatory environment. Participants of the panel discussion are: industry expert Ferenc Lajkó, Managing Director of DigiLog Consulting, President of the Logistics Section of HEA; Gábor Márta, Managing Director of Rail Cargo Logistics Hungaria; and Tamás Viktor Pamucsi, Logistics Director of Masped Logisztika Kft. The discussion will be moderated by Gyöngyvér Kerényi, controlling expert, managing director of Smart Controlling Kft. and member of the HEA Logistics Section Board.
