Gender Norms and the Law is the title of a two-day international online conference organised by the International Economics Association (IEA) and the World Bank on 24 and 25 October 2024 in Zoom.
Bringing together speakers and researchers from the world’s most prestigious schools of economics (Harvard, Yale, London School of Economics, University of Chicago, John Hopkins University…), the conference aims to present research on the relationship between gender norms and the legal framework surrounding access to economic opportunities for both men and women.
