Registration for this year’s Economics Olympiad is now closed! We were delighted to see that this year saw the biggest turnout since the competition was first held, with 412 students from 64 secondary schools in 30 municipalities registering to test their knowledge of economics against their peers. The students who registered will be informed by e-mail in the next few days.
The competition will start with a written, online round between 24 and 28 February 2025, and in the second half of March 2025 the best students will compete in a two-round national final – written and oral – in Budapest. The best students from the national final are expected to compete in an international final in English in Greece in September 2025 against the best students from 15-20 countries! The best students in both the national and international finals will of course win valuable prizes.
