Business ethics in Hungary – as seen by chambers, entrepreneurs and academia. This is the title of the book launch event organised by Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE), the Higher and Continuing Education Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MKIK) on the publications of PPKE lecturers on ethics on Tuesday, 29 April 2025 at noon in the Jelenits István Hall of the PPKE Sophianum building (1088 Budapest, Mikszáth Kálmán tér 1.).
The publications to be presented at the event are:
- Nándor Birher, Lóránd Ujházi (eds.): Ethics as a normative system
- Géza Kuminetz: The ethics of love and/or the love of ethics: the philosophy and psychology of love by László Noszlopi (1901-1990)
- Máté Botos: De la bonne monnaie. Documents originaux de ” l’Union catholique des études sociales et économiques ” de Fribourg (1884-1903)
The presentation of the publications will be followed by a corporate roundtable discussion with Éva Takács (CIB Bank), Laura Juhász (Schneider Electric), Erik Vaskeba (RTL), Katinka Tölgyes (MVM), Kálmán Dabóczi (72T) and Máté Benkóczy (Servitor Kft.). Moderator: András Bácsfalvi (EY).
Géza György Kuminetz, Rector of the PPKE; György Horváth, Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Péter Szatmári, Vice-Rector of Milton Friedman University and Chairman of the Higher and Further Education Section of the HEA will welcome the audience.
