Digitalization as an opportunity for innovation – but where does Hungary stand in this regard? The Innovation Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) is organizing a professional roundtable discussion on this topic on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the HEA community room (ELTE ÁJK Building B, 1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti u. 10-12, 4th floor 403) and on the HEA’s YouTube channel. The event is prompted by Eurostat’s recently published report on digitalization.
Participants in the discussion: Magdolna Csath, university professor, vice-president of the HEA Innovation Section; Ádám Balog, president of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, vice-president of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, president of the HEA Central and Eastern European Section; György Gábor Cserey, university professor, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics at Pázmány Péter Catholic University; and Antal Kuthy, founding CEO of E-Group ICT Software Zrt. and member of the board of the HEA’s IT Section.
