Economic relations in times of war

Technical issues concerning the functioning of Ukrainian-Hungarian economic relations in wartime conditions – this is the title of a professional conference organised by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Károli Gáspár Reformed University, in cooperation with the Hungarian Economic Association’s International Economy and European Union Sections on Friday, 13 June 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Ballroom of the Károlyi-Csekonics Palace (1088 Budapest, Múzeum utca 17).

Speakers at the event: Judit Hammerstein, assistant professor at Károli Gáspár Reformed University (KRE); Zsolt Becsey, deputy director of the Institute of Social Sciences and International Studies at KRE, former MEP, vice-president of the European Union Section of the HEA; Sándor Gelb, President of the Hungarian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Zsolt Kovalszky, Head of the Foreign Trade Statistics Department at the Hungarian Central Statistical Office; and Dmytro Andrievskii, Managing Director of COLORTEC Kft. Participants will be welcomed by Zsolt Becsey and László Trócsányi, Rector of KRE.
