As of November 3, Richárd Végh, President of the Sustainability Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of KAVOSZ Zrt. With this appointment, the company aims to further develop the Széchenyi Card Program, expand financing opportunities for domestic businesses, and strengthen digitalization with a renewed approach.
The new CEO will be responsible for the company’s operational management as well as the strategic development of the Széchenyi Card Program. His tasks will include further digitalizing the company’s operations, expanding cooperation with financial service providers, and increasing the program’s visibility and accessibility.
Richárd Végh brings more than 20 years of experience in the Hungarian financial and corporate sectors. He began his career at the Budapest Stock Exchange as an economic analyst, later serving as a director. He then led the Capital Market and Market Supervision Directorate at the Central Bank of Hungary. Afterwards, he rejoined the Budapest Stock Exchange as CEO, where he led the organization for nearly ten years. His professional career is also marked by a strong commitment to sustainability: as President of the Sustainability Section of the Hungarian Economic Association, he plays an active role in strengthening the link between the economy and environmental responsibility.
