The actors of retail trade, or the place and role of small and large, as well as domestic and foreign companies in commerce. Under this title, the Trade Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (Magyar Közgazdasági Társaság – MKT) is organizing its next professional roundtable discussion on Monday, 23 February 2026, from 11:00 a.m., in the MKT community space, on the 4th floor of Building B of the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University (1053 Budapest, Kecskeméti u. 10–12.), and on the MKT YouTube channel.
The introductory lecture of the event will be delivered by Tamás Kozák, Secretary General of the National Association of Commerce, Associate Professor at Budapest Business University, and President of the Trade Section of the MKT. Participants in the roundtable discussion will be Ákos Kozák, economic policy expert at the Equilibrium Institute; Katalin Neubauer, Secretary General of the Hungarian National Trade Association; and Viktor Madarász, CEO of Korona Plc.
