Cheerfulness and Science – Magdolna Csath in Academia and Public Life. This is the title of the book by Zsófia Molnár, published by Lexica Publishing, about the career of university professor Magdolna Csath, President of the Innovation Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA). The foreword to the volume was written by Mihály Varga, Governor of the Hungarian National Bank. The book launch will take place on Monday, 1 June 2026, from 3:00 p.m. in Budapest, in the conference hall of the Library of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (1 Arany János Street, H-1051 Budapest).
At the event, the volume and the work of Magdolna Csath will be presented by Éva Hegedüs, Chairwoman and CEO of GRÁNIT Bank Plc., Secretary General of the HEA; Attila Simon, CEO of Herend Porcelain Manufactory Ltd., Vice President of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Board Member of the Innovation Section of the HEA; as well as Norbert Kis, university professor at the Ludovika University of Public Service.
