The Fintech and Financial Literacy Section of the Hungarian Economic Association (HEA) recently held its leadership renewal election online. The members unanimously supported the re-election of Éva Pintér, Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Corvinus University of Budapest, as President of the Section. The members also unanimously voted to renew the mandate of Péter Bagó, Assistant Professor at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Corvinus University of Budapest, as Secretary of the Section for another three-year term.
By a large majority, the voting members elected Levente Kovács, Secretary General of the Hungarian Banking Association, and Róbert Reisz, Managing Director of Hufbau-Akker Ltd., as Vice Presidents of the HEA Fintech and Financial Literacy Section. They also decided by a large majority that the following professionals should serve as Board Members of the HEA Fintech and Financial Literacy Section: Eszter Hergár, Chief Executive Officer of MNB-EduLab Competence Center Nonprofit Ltd.; László Kiss, Managing Director of LKC International; Ágnes Sütő, Managing Director of the Investor Protection Fund; and Viktor Vajda, AI Legal Expert and Deputy Chief Operating Officer of John von Neumann Nonprofit Public Benefit Ltd.
