The presidium of the Hungarian Judo Association gave a silver For Hungarian Judo award to Attila Borbély, member of HEA’s Supervisory Board and chairman of the Sport Economics section. The award was handed over by György Nagy, secretary general of the Hungarian Judo Association, in the Hungarian House of Sports.
Besides numerous other sport-related activities, Mr. Borbély has been doing judo since 1965. He was in the first Hungarian Olympic judo team and the national team, and has achieved top ranks in world and European Masters championships. Also, he has won the international open Masters judo championship of Hungary four times.
