The 56th Itinerant Meeting of Economists was closed with a presentation by Liam Benham, Vice President of IBM Europe. The conference held in Debrecen featured two plenary and 19 section meetings. The fascinating presentations and thought-provoking roundtable discussions were attended by an audience of almost 900 in total. This, and the fact that there were almost 190 presenters, made the event the largest Hungarian itinerant economists’ meeting of all time. The videos of the two plenary meetings and the financial section alone (streamed live during the conference) have been viewed over 3,300 times since then. Visit the web site of the meeting for the videos (http://kozgazdasz-vandorgyules.blog.hu, video tab).

We have uploaded a selection of photos of the event to the web site and the Facebook page of the itinerant meeting. More photos will be added in the near future. Click on Sajtó (press) in the menu for samples from the press coverage.

The slides displayed by the presenters will soon be available for download from the web site of the conference.
