The 39th National Conference of Young Economists (FIKOT) will be organized by the Youth Committee of the Hungarian Economic Association on Saturday, 27 April 2019 at the Eszterházy Károly University, Eger. The subjects of this year’s conference will include current economic policy issues, in addition to sports economics and eSports economics, the challenges of the sharing economy and the future of the banking system and the European Union.

FIKOT is a traditional event of the 125 year old Hungarian Economic Association, a prominent professional forum organized every year for economics students in Hungary. The speakers of this year’s conference will include, among others, Éva Hegedüs, Chairperson and CEO of GRÁNIT Bank Zrt., Secretary General of the HEA; Éva Palócz, CEO of Kopint-Tárki Zrt., Vice President of the HEA; and Tamás Halm, Editor-in-Chief of the Hungarian Economic Review, Board Member of the HEA.
