Sustainable Finance and ESG Investments will be the title of a professional online forum organised by the Budapest Stock Exchange in association with the Responsible Corporate Governance Section of the HEA taking place on Thursday, 16 July 2020 from 9.30 a.m. The presentations will be accessible via Microsoft Teams live events.

The online conference will address sustainable finance and ESG investments involving key sustainability experts of Hungary’s capital market. The aim is for BÉT to be a catalyst for domestic capital market ecosystem development following sustainability objectives. The invited speakers represent the Hungarian regulatory and consulting agencies and issuing corporate and institutional investors, and will address ESG data service and index-based investing as well.

The audience of the event will be welcomed by Richárd Végh, CEO of Budapest Stock Exchange, President of the Responsible Corporate Governance Section of the HEA. The speakers of the event will include Csaba Kandrács, Deputy Governor of the MNB;  Gergely Jancsár, Senior Expert for Sustainability Strategy, MOL Nyrt.; Sándor Vízkeleti, Chairman of the Board, BAMOSZ, Chairman-CEO of Amundi Alapkezelő Zrt., Board Member of the Responsible Corporate Governance Section; János Strohmayer, Head of Secretariat, Egon Zehnder International Kft.; István Szabó, Senior Manager, KPMG; Barnabás Ács, Regional Performance Director, Refinitiv; and Zoltán Nagy, Senior Research Fellow, MSCI.
