The Political and Economic Significance of the Visegrad Countries will be the subject of an online conference organised by the European Union Section of the HEA, to take place on Thursday, 17 June 2021, from 2 p.m. via Webex and HEA’s YouTube Channel.

Speakers of the conference: Anna Wisniewski, General Director, Polish-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce (The Role of V4 Economic Cooperation and the Polish Market: Institutional Opportunities Offered by the Polish-Hungarian Chamber); Edit Szilágyiné Bátorfi, Executive Director, Visegrad Fund (The Organisational Background and History of the Visegrad Cooperation, What is Seen and What is Not Seen); and Magdolna Sass, Director, KRTK Institute of World Economics, Eötvös Loránd Research Network (The Competitiveness and the Global Economic Connections Model of the Visegrad Countries). The conference will be chaired by Zsolt Becsey, lecturer of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church and Budapest Metropolitan University, former MEP, Vice President of the European Union Section of the HEA.
