Taking it to the Next Digital Level: The Key to Hungary’s Competitiveness? will be the title of an online roundtable event organised by the Industry and Entrepreneurship Section of the Hungarian Economic Association on Thursday, 3 June 2021, from 3 p.m. via Webex and HEA’s YouTube Channel.
Participants: Gergely Baksay, Executive Director of MNB for Economic Analysis and Competitiveness, President of the Competitiveness Section, HEA Board Member; Vilmos Both, Head of Micro and Startup Division, IVSZ, Managing Director of Bottom Line Kft.; and Levente Czimbalmos, Head of the Modern Enterprise Programme. Invited contributor: Dávid Losonci, Associate Professor, Director of Corvinus University of Budapest Institute of Business Economics. The event will be moderated by Miklós Kozma, Associate Professor of Corvinus University of Budapest, President of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Section of the HEA.
The participants seek to answer questions such as what is the relationship between the digitization efforts of businesses and national competitiveness; what kind of decisions could help improve the current level of effectiveness in digitization for businesses and business communities in Hungary; what kind of policy interventions and market incentives would be needed to promote improvement at national level; what role the individual actors could play in this process.
